13. 01. 2016. UBL: A SEMINAR HELD AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ALICANTE IN THE FRAME OF WBCInno PROJECT

On the second day of the visit to the University of Alicante (Spain), members of UBL (Prof. Dr Petar Marić, Prof. Dr Milorad Božić, Prof. Dr Tatjana Pešić-Brđanin, Dr Dražen Brđanin, assistant professor, Senior Assistant Velibor Đalić, msc, and Vanja Todorović), together with the representatives of the University of Zenica (UNZ), participated in the seminar on technology transfer and innovativeness for development of a entrepreneurially oriented University.

Speakers, Ms.Carolina Madeleiene, Ms. Lorena Moreno and Ms. Olga Frances, presented to the guests from Bosnia and Herzegovina: activities of the Project Office of the University of Alicante, development of the Science Park Alicante and ways of establishing „spin-off“ and „spin-out“ companies and solutions which UA has implemented in its development mission.

These, high quality presentations gave valuable insights into various solutions and concepts that can be useful to HEIs in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Also, discussions about ideas for joint projects took place. Potentially, these projects could be done in the future, especially in the frame of Erasmus+ Program, by UNZE and UNBL, on the one side, and UA, on the other.
